For all of you who were not able to visit IFRA Expo in Vienna, here a short wrap-up.

Before going to Vienna we were not sure what to expect. It turned out that the total number of visitors to IFRA Expo was down 25% compared to last year and that was clearly visible at the show floor. Many big booths were embarrasingly quiet. WoodWing though was one of the rare exceptions, our booth was very well visited.

As usual we had lots of new stuff to show:

Tell's Performance Monitor is an advanced tool aimed at analyzing and monitoring performance of publishing and media companies, based on standard benchmarks and performance indicators dynamically configurable according to customer needs.

Timone PM is integrated with WoodWing Enterprise and the most popular Web CMSes. It can also be connected with external ERP systems, to provide, in a single interface, both the analysis of productivity of the newsroom and the tracking & control of the costs. See also Tell's Web site.

Today i.t.i.p has become Premium Technology Partner of WoodWing. i.t.i.p products are a valuable addition to the Enterprise solution. This is also proofed by the shared customers, like Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in the US and SM Ediciones (Mexico)

i.t.i.p. products include InMath and Readabilities. InMath is a plug-in for real mathematical typesetting with InDesign and InCopy, whereas Readabilities can make an objective and reliable measure for the readability of text. This can be important if one needs to judge whether an intended reader group will understand the text.

We're always proud to receive such large groups on our booth. The Japanese - including their translator - have become regular visitors of ours. We're glad to have a piece of the floorspace dedicated for the theatre this year.
