Hello there!

After installing v6.0.2 former used styles in a library don't format tabels as v6.0.0 (I missed v6.0.1) did it correct formerly!! For e.g. color of cells are ignored, orientation of Text in cells are ignored.

There are Files attributed with v6.0.0 in the updated Folder ... is this correct? The most files show v6.0.2. but not all! I made an complete uninstall and installed it complete new ... same thing.

So, I made a downgrade back to v6.0.0 and everything is working fine ...

... what's wrong?

Joerg

Dear Joerg,

I tried to reproduce your problem with the following steps, but I was not able to reproduce the problem you describe:
1. Launch InDesign with Smart Styles CS4 v6.0.0 installed
2. Create a document
3. Create a text frame with a table inside
4. Give some cells of the table a color and change the orientation of the text.
5. Create a Smart Style from this text frame.
6. Create another text frame with a table inside
7. Apply the style on the new table
-> The table is styled as expected
8. Quit InDesign
9. Update Smart Styles CS4 to v6.0.2
10. Launch InDesign
11. Create a document
12. Create a text frame with a table inside
13. Apply the style created in step 5 to the table
-> The table is styled in the same way as with v6.0.0

Hopefully you will contact our support team (support@woodwing.com) and send them some sample files that show the problem you have. In that way we hope to find the cause of your problem as soon as possible.

It is correct that not all files of v6.0.2 have a v6.0.2 file version. The version details of the different files are:
SmartStyles : v6.0.2
SmartStyleUI : v6.0.2
SmartTables : v6.0.2
SmartTablesUI : v6.0.2
WoodWing Frameworks : v6.0.0 (Macintosh only)
WoodWing : v6.0.0
WWStyling : v6.0.2

Hope this helps.

Hi Joerg,

maybe it helps to drag the Smart Style with alt-key from library to document and then back to library.

Best regards

Hello Stefan!

Thanx for your reply - but this was one of the first solutions I tried ;-) Even though making a complete new style from this table doesn't fix it ...

What I misappropriated is the working station: MAC OS 10.5.8 PPC 2.7 Ghz Dual, InDesign 6.0.4

I will send an example to the support, cause there is something in it: different fills, different stroke thickness, rotated text ...

Greetings
